Old Town Hanoi in Potsdam

Ordered online for pickup at noon today. The food could be picked up barely 20 minutes later. Knocked briefly and the food was exchanged for payment. Delicious as always. Especially the Pho did well today in the gray weather. Germ again.

Delicious food, good portion size, fair price and nice service. Only star deduction because the meat was a bit tough. Otherwise nothing to complain about 👍

Discovered while strolling through Potsdam. Small and fine. Nice service. Everything was freshly prepared. Big portion. Delicious. Especially with the sushi there was a great sauce on the plate. Good price / performance ratio.

Great place and amazing sushi! I think it's the best sushi in Potsdam! The only problem is the waiting time. It takes them a long time to prepare the food. But other than that, the service is very friendly and understanding 😊

We ordered takeaway food today. The Tom Kha soup was not only ridiculously small (compared to the sour spicy soup), it also contained larger pieces of plastic in both servings. The soup was packed in such a way that the lid broke with one serving. This would also explain the plastic in a soup. But why in both and even in a third court? Very disappointing as the food actually tastes very good. Unfortunately, it wasn't warm anymore, despite the short way home. Furthermore, we asked before ordering whether card payment was possible. This was answered in the affirmative. Well, suddenly only cash was accepted during the payment process. All in all very disappointing and we are still hungry.

I eat here 3 times a week because it tastes really good here. I think it's great that no glutamate is used here. Thanks keep it up :-)

Price / performance ratio fits, in contrast to some other overpriced Asian restaurants in the vicinity. Food could be a little more generous.

The Old Town Hanoi is a small, simple Asian restaurant in the heart of Potsdam. It has a wide range of hot dishes and sushi. It is good for hungry strollers, accompanied by vegetarians, as many dishes are offered here, both with different types of meat and as meat-free versions with tofu. The prices for the portions are cheap.

Very tasty, normal prices and waiting times. Cozy interior. Friendly service. Was very pleased.

A small restaurant, but a fine one. One card, clearly but extensively configurable. I can recommend it for vegans, vegetarians and normal people. The food tasted good to us and the prices are reasonable and affordable for everyone. I will stop here again.

I don't know why this restaurant is rated 4 stars. We came in for lunch. We ordered sushi and matcha latte. It was horrible. The sushi rice tastes like sticky rice cooked in a rice cooker. The matcha looks cheap, no taste, but costs 4,5 euro.

The chairs are very comfortable and I find the distance between the seats very decent. There you absolutely don't get the feeling of having dinner in a can like sardines. The waitresses are always very nice and very accommodating. That gives me and my husband a lot of joy with every visit. I found the bid very sympathetic. For my part, my partner and I believe that I have long since ordered the entire menu up and down. The meal was served very quickly.

During the day trip in Potsdam we absolutely wanted to eat Asian and discovered the Hanoi. Really nice shop, clean and nice staff. It's a shame that you can't pay with an EC card. The food was absolutely amazing! We had sushi, miso and a glass noodle soup. We couldn't believe it, our kids (who hate the soup) ate everything empty. Absolutely fresh taste, well seasoned, well presented. The next time you visit Potsdam, there will be a visit to Hanoi again :)

This place is the best! With a rich offer of vegan and vegetarian meals. The have a weekly changing special menue as well with very creative and exciting new dishes. They had vegan sushi hot dogs or burgers for example. The staff is super nice too and you always feel very welcome.

I love the place and go there regularly! It’s quite affordable and high quality food with a lot of vegan options 😊🌱 On top they offer a weekly menu with creative options that keep surprising me! (E.g. a vegan sushi hotdog that was just delicious!) Also the service is polite and friendly, since we go there quite often they remember us, so I seems to me they care about their costumers. :) Definite recommendation! ♥️

Superb food for good prices. The service is great even when the restaurant is full.

I had a good experience before i came here .But this time the service was bad . Waiters were yelling and just imagine ,we even had to ask for plates.And even i got egg shells in the food which was disgusting. On top of that I got severe stomach upset after having from there. PLEASE AVOID IT.

Menu # 9 - not very. The small rolls are delicious. Large - no. Small nigiri. Sake is so-so. Others have not tried.

The sushi is so delicious, I recommend it to anyone. Also the salads or rice rolls are a dream and the price unbeatable.

Fantastic sushi at very good prices, family business and totally cordial service! If you order by phone and pick up the food, you usually have to expect a short wait. The restaurant was completely redesigned from the inside and is really beautiful and very comfortably furnished.

The ambiance creates a cozy and pleasant atmosphere. The service was relatively friendly and the food tasted delicious. I ate fried chicken legs with vegetables and rice in sweet sour sauce. For my court I had to pay 7.50 € and the price I find justified. However, you can not pay in the restaurant with a card and my friends and I have to wait a relatively long time for the food. There is no toilet in the restaurant. However, the location is very nice, as the restaurant is located in the Dutch Quarter, which makes a walk worthwhile. All in all, I would recommend a visit to Old Town Hanoi, but think that there are certainly better Vietnamese restaurants.

I find it cozy here. The food is okay. The only toilet (one per sex) is shared with the bagels, so you always have to look out that it is free. Unfortunately, you can not even wash your hands when the toilet is occupied. I find ordering and asking something more difficult due to the language barrier, but the staff are nice. On our last visit the drinks came only when we were almost finished with starter and main course.

Well served. The restaurant is clean. Food is freshly cooked and served. I really enjoyed the Tofu, its soft and melts in mouth.
